I offer systems design and organizational development assistance for businesses and non-profit organizations. At this time my competencies include two "off-the-shelf" large group intervention methods, and some tested workshops of my own design for smaller groups. Many years of operations direction, as well as systems design study, also inform my approach.

I am currently studying Open Book Management, started by Jack Stack. I believe Open Book has been shown to be tremendously effective in many businesses. Other successful methods share with it the emphasis on -

• Using all the brains in the organization.
• Finding ways to share the company's success with its employees.
• Actively and constantly seeking feedback from the customer.
• Rewarding innovation that improves the whole system.
• Turning company challenges into company enthusiasm.

It is my observation that the leading edge in communications learning, organizational development, and now, personal understanding and growth, are happening in the private sector. In the next decade, I believe we will witness a positive spillover of this understanding and technique into our homes, schools, and probably last, into the government. You read it here.
